Celebrating Engineers: Appreciation Post for the Teams that Keep Sites Running

Did you know that September 15th is celebrated as Engineers Day? It's mostly commemorated in India, but seeing as we never shy away from an opportunity to show our appreciation for our engineers, this year we're celebrating too.

At deckpro, our engineers are the backbone of our operations. They're the teams in the field, solving problems, tackling challenges, and making sure that every pump system functions at its best. So, to mark the occasion, we visited site to spend some time chatting with our some of our engineers about their work, the projects they’ve loved, and what sparked their passion for engineering.

Meet Matt, Joe, and Jordan...

What’s Engineers Day?

You might be wondering, what’s Engineers Day all about? It commemorates the birthday of Sir Mokshagundam Visvesvaraya (commonly known as Sir MV), one of India’s greatest engineers.

Sir MV is known for his outstanding contributions to Indian infrastructure, industrial growth, and economic development. He earned the title of "father of Modern Mysore" for his role in transforming the region’s industries. His work was so impactful that he was awarded the Bharat Ratna, India’s highest civilian honour, and was also knighted by King George V. Read more about Sir MV here.

What Makes Our Team Great!

We may be bias, but we believe our engineers are the best in the field. Whether it’s making sure pumps are working flawlessly or staying on site until a system is up and running again, the work our engineers do is nothing short of essential.

Their problem-solving skills, creativity, and commitment to excellence help us continue delivering the high-quality service we’re known for. Don't take our word for it, take a look at what our clients say!
