deckpro pumps transitioned our client's pumps from obsolescence to compliance, as quickly as possible to minimise operational disruption. We seamlessly replaced an outdated diesel-powered fire pump with a modern, LPCB-approved alternative, ensuring long-term reliability for the client and mitigating future risk of failure.

The Challenge
The existing diesel-powered fire pump had reached the end of its serviceable life and had been condemned, so the pump needed to be replaced with a modern, LPCB-approved alternative for the property insurance to be valid. The original installation had been built to conform to 28th Edition FOC Rules, but the replacement needed to conform with the newer 29th Edition FOC Rules and subsequent versions of the LPC Rules.
The Solution
deckpro pumps specified an SPP-built fire pump, again diesel-powered as requested by the site, which could be installed in the same location and met all relevant requirements and certification. The new pump was installed on time and to plan, allowing the site to continue normal operations without interruption.

The Outcome
Ongoing servicing of the fire pump by deckpro pumps will ensure it is kept in good condition its working life will be extended. A quality, reliable, and legally compliant fire pump will serve the site well for many years to come.
